AAV9 Process Robustness Evaluation in Cloud-native 250mL Bioreactors

Adeno-associated virus (AAV) production can be complex and challenging to standardize. We explored the use of the Gibco

AAV-MAX Helper-Free AAV Production System in 250mL cloud-native bioreactors to streamline the process. Our study tested key parameters—dissolved oxygen, agitation, pH at transfection, and viable cell density—while maintaining recommended settings for other factors. Results confirmed robust AAV9 production at lab scale, with viral titers comparable to controls. These findings support efficient scaling to manufacturing, enabling faster process optimization with real-time data access. Download the poster to learn more!
