Palmer Lam

Palmer is an Operations leader with over 20 years of biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience across large molecule, viral vector, and cell therapy modalities, from preclinical to commercial stages. He has led successful tech transfers and production campaigns to deliver life-changing therapies. At Sangamo Therapeutics, he established and directed the team responsible for the company’s first GMP manufacturing facility, overseeing multiple functions and managing production for a global gene and cell therapy portfolio. Previously at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, Palmer contributed to the commercial production of Aldurazyme, Naglazyme, and Brineura, holding key roles in regulatory inspections and digital system implementations. A Bay Area native and UC Davis graduate, he enjoys sports, especially the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants.
