Chris brings over thirty years of diverse experience and proven leadership in biotechnology, engineering, operations, and technology development; working in large global entities, mid-size businesses, and startup enterprises.
Prior to joining Culture Biosciences, Chris served as COO for Cytek Biosciences with responsibility for all aspects of global marketing, production and supply chain. Prior to Cytek, Chris was at Thermo Fisher Scientific as VP/GM of the Single Use Technologies and Bioprocess Equipment & Automation businesses as well as VP of Engineering Technology, Operations and Innovation within the contract development and manufacturing business, leading the Pharma 4.0 effort. Prior to that Chris was VP of Site Engineering at Bayer in Berkeley, with extensive experience in technical operations, engineering, automation and digitalization across development, clinical and commercial stages with strong focus on drug substance processes. Earlier Chris founded two successful startups in the process analysis segment including a focus on bioreactor sensors, controls and automation.
